Take the shinkansen (about 35 mins) to Odawara station, where the driver will be waiting, holding a sign with your name on it.
You will first visit Odawara Castle, the closest medieval fortress to central Tokyo and the seventh largest castle in Japan, home base of the Hojo clan, the rulers of Odawara for over 100 years.
Then the Odawara Foundation and Enoura Observatory, opened in 2017, after 10 years of work and imagined by Japanese contemporary art artist Hiroshi Sujimoto, which offers visitors a sensory and spiritual immersion in the essence of Japanese culture, with a view breathtaking view of Sagami Bay. The perfect spot for those with a love of art and architecture.
The visit will be followed by a lunch in a seafood and fish restaurant overlooking Sagami Bay.
Your driver will drive you to your ryokan via the famous mountain passes, Tsubaki Line and Ashinoko Sky Line, presented in a Japanese animation called “Initial D Fifth Stage” and which offer spectacular panoramic views of Mount Fuji, the Izu Peninsula, Lake Ashi and the Pacific Ocean.
Close to your ryokan you’ll find the Hakone Open Air Museum, a 200-hectare park dotted with fascinating sculptures.
Enjoy dinner, onsen and overnight at your 4**** ryokan.

After enjoying your breakfast (included), visit Hakone. Take a boat cruise on Lake Ashinoko to see the shrine and its torii, or experience the boiling sulfur springs of the Owakudani Valley.
Then you will take the shinkansen or local train to Yokohama.
The city of Yokohama, capital of Kanagawa, is the second most populous city in the country and a major component of the Tokyo-Yokohama metropolitan area.
Often overlooked in favor of its big brother, Tokyo, Yokohama offers a wonderful mix of old and new, hills and bay, elegance and ease!
Like the other ports of Kobe and Osaka, it has always been one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Japan. Rich in this mix of cultures, its history and its proximity to the capital, Yokohama is an interesting stopover during a stay in the land of the rising sun!
Minato Mirai District, the magnificent Yamashita park, the exotic Chinatown… In the evening, the district of Noge is recommended, with its izakaya, gourmet restaurants and all kinds of cafes, bars and clubs.

In the morning, your driver will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to Kamakura, a charming little coastal town in the province.
Referred to as the Kyoto of Eastern Japan, Kamakura is a city known for numerous temples and shrines, delicious food, and beaches. The city also offers visitors insight into a more bohemian side of Japanese culture.
After lunch, you will enjoy zazen (Sitting Meditation) at Kenchoji Temple, the first-ranked of Zen temple in Kamakura, and the oldest Zen training monastery.
You will end your day by visiting the sacred island of Enoshima and its splendid panorama overlooking Mount Fuji.
According to Buddhist mythology, the island is believed to have emerged from the ocean after a violent earthquake triggered by the sea goddess Benzaiten, who has tamed the Five-Headed Dragon that terrorized the area.
Your driver will take you to the station to return to Tokyo with a local train (1 hour).
