The Tokyo Olympics 2020 will kick off on Friday, July 23 with a spectacular opening ceremony, and will run until Sunday, August 8.
Following a two-week break, the Paralympics will begin Tuesday, August 24 and conclude Sunday, September 5.
A total of 33 Olympic sports and 22 Paralympic sports will be contested in the 2020 Tokyo Games by about 11,000 athletes from around the world.
