Mount Fuji Private Car Tour – Kawaguchiko, Chureito & Oshino Hakkai
The Sacred Peak
What you’ll see & do
Book this tour alone or include it in a custom trip
This private tour can be booked as a standalone day or included within a custom Japan itinerary, with hotels, transport, guides, cultural experiences, and local support arranged around your dates.
Mount Fuji (富士山) is Japan’s highest peak at 3,776 metres – a dormant volcano that has shaped the country’s physical, spiritual and artistic identity for centuries. Temples and shrines ring its base. Pilgrims have climbed it since the 12th century. Hokusai drew it thirty-six times.
On this private full-day car tour you visit the places where Fuji reveals itself most dramatically – the Chureito Pagoda steps above Fujiyoshida, the shore of Lake Kawaguchiko, and the crystal spring ponds of Oshino Hakkai where Fuji’s snowmelt surfaces after filtering through volcanic rock for eighty years. The itinerary is built around the weather and the light. Fuji is notoriously shy – clear days are most reliable from October to February, and we plan around that.
